Amid a festive & charming atmosphere, 6th of October City hosted the celebration of giant residential project "Grand Heights," held by leading real estate developer; “Kuwadico” to promote for the project’s pioneering concept designed to redefine suburbs residential housing.

"Kuwadico" CEO - Ibrahim Hassan stated: "The event reflects Kuwadico’s top priority to provide the best deals to their customers", expressing his delight at "the presence of such a large number of partners and customers who were keen to share Kuwadico’s glorious moments."

The ceremony was held at Kuwadico’s 6th of October headquarters in the presence of strategic business partners and over 300 customers who were delighted at the promotional offers and payment facilities announced. Customers were also invited to tour the site and explore a range of mock-up villas to witness “Grand Heights” progress, unique designs, and finishing standards.  

The ceremony featured a dazzling entertainment program that included performance of classic eastern and new generation songs by “Masar Egbary” band in addition to Al Leila Al Kebira Show. Invitees also enjoyed a large range of games and recreational activities such as karaoke and "Xbox" while children played in the allocated kids’ area.

Participants showcased distinctive services provided by "Grand Heights" project in the first phase, which contains different models for fully finished villas featuring unique designs and floor plans in addition to the innovative security systems and home automation solutions.

Kuwadico Holds Strategic Alliances with Leading Egyptian Real Estate Developers and Contractors

In a move to strengthen and stimulate the Egyptian real estate sector, Kuwait Wadi El Nil Urban Development (Kuwadico) signed strategic alliances with leading Egyptian real estate developer and contractors such as "Orascom Construction Industries" and "Amer Group" to carry out the "Grand Heights" project in the Sixth of October City allocating more than LE 8 Billion in investments consigning the world’s leading consultants.

Engineer Ibrahim Hassan; Chief Executive Officer of Kuwadico stated: "We strongly believe in the strength and prospects of the Egyptian real estate market, which represents a backbone to the Egyptian Economy at large, despite any current challenges prevailing, with the first signs of stability and government support, we expect the market to recover and flourish significantly”.

Hassan added: “We are hoping and looking forward to practical results of recent and upcoming government measurements in support of the industry and hence will directly drive more investments in the development and real estate industry, which remains evermore the most attractive market in the whole region”.

Kuwait Wadi Elnile Urban Development Co. (KUWADICO), a subsidiary of NREC, participated for the first time at Cityscape Egypt 2012 which took place from 20-23rd February 2012 in Cairo’s International Exhibition Center, where the company presented its Grand Heights Project located in 6th of October City.

The participation of KUWADICO in this exhibition aimed at showcasing a group of different units of residential villas within the Grand Heights Project. It was the most outstanding group among a group of projects offered by the largest real estate developers in Egypt. In spite of intense competition, KUWADICO’s participation was widely successful and was seen in the unprecedented amount of visitors to the Grand Heights stand. The success was compounded by the fact that the completion of the model villas and the subsequent opening of them to the public is expected to occur in the near future.

Considered the most high-profile real estate exhibition in Egypt, Cityscape Egypt managed to attract large numbers of visitors and participation from the largest real estate developers despite the events that took place in Egypt this past year, indicating that the Egyptian real estate market is on the right path to a powerful comeback.

In a new step for Kuwait Wadi Elnile Urban Development Company (KUWADICO), a subsidiary of NREC, a contract has been signed with OCI to begin the comprehensive infrastructural development of the first phase of the Grand Heights Project for the amount of EGP 247 Million.

 The contract was signed by Mr. Khaleel Al-Abdullah, CEO of NREC and Managing Director of KUWADICO, Engineer Ibrahim Hassan, General Manager of KUWADICO, Mr. Onsy Sawiris as Honorary President of OCI, Mr. Majid Abadir, CEO of OCI as well as the honorary guest Dr. Ali Abdulrahman, Governor of Al-Giza.

Mr. Khaleel Al-Abdullah, Managing Director of KUWADICO, stated that this contract marks the first of several contracts that the company will be signing in the coming months that involve constructing and landscaping educational, commercial, administrative and athletic service buildings. The first set of units will be delivered by the first half of 2014.

In a three-day event, held at the Gezira Club and organized by Grand Heights, Kuwadico, an amusing carnival for the family and children took place.  As it was a huge success, the carnival offered a diverse combination of entertainment and activities.  Activities like cartoon characters, games, pottery, kids photo shoot, Disney parade, arts & crafts, kids area, and the magician along with a special mixture of entertainment featuring Wist El Balad band and the all-time renowned show El Leilla El Kebira, made this event as joyful and memorable as it can get.  

NREC’s project with KUWADICO (Egypt) to build an integrated city in the 6th of October City was subjected to several technical changes in the designs, which have actually been finalized and are now ready to submit to the Egyptian Urban Communities Authority to obtain the building licenses and mandate the tasks to the selected contractors.

The project cost will amount to KD 82.5 million, equivalent to EGP 1.6 billion. The project consists of commercial complexes, specialized language schools, in addition to investment complexes and office. These projects will be executed after the license is obtained, following approval of the Investment Authority in Egypt.
